This Privacy Policy describes how Cognify, a service operated by Hypinx Consulting LLC ("Cognify," "we," "us," or "our"), an enterprise remote IT support and monitoring service (the "Service"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects your information. 01Overview & scope
Cognify is an enterprise remote IT support and monitoring platform. This Policy applies to the Cognify public website (cognifyapp.io), the booking and scheduling experience, and the operator support service. It explains what we collect, why, how we protect it, and the choices you have — including how our consent-based SMS notifications work.
Our SMS program is transactional and customer-care in nature — appointment/booking notifications and operator support-session messages. We do not operate an SMS marketing program.
02Information we collect
We collect only what we need to schedule support, notify you, and operate secure remote sessions:
- Contact information — your name and email address.
- Mobile phone number — collected only if you choose to receive SMS notifications.
- Booking details — the support session or appointment you request (time, subject, related account).
- Consent records — whether and when you opted in to SMS, and the method used.
- Session & audit data — connection events, consent grants, and control handoffs generated during a remote support session.
- Limited usage data — basic, mostly anonymized analytics about how the website is used (see Cookies & usage data).
03How we use information
We use the information above to:
- Schedule, confirm, and remind you about support appointments and bookings.
- Send account and operator support-session messages while a session is active.
- Establish and secure end-to-end encrypted remote sessions, with your explicit consent.
- Maintain an audit trail for security, accountability, and compliance.
- Respond to your support, HELP, privacy, and opt-out requests.
The purpose of our messaging is appointment/booking notifications and account/operator support messages during a support session. This is transactional / customer-care communication, not marketing.
04SMS / text messaging & consent
If you opt in, Cognify (sender display name: Cognify) sends transactional SMS messages about your support session and appointments. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
How we collect your opt-in (explicit, affirmative, non-pre-ticked)
We obtain your express written consent before sending any SMS. Consent is collected through one of three methods, and the consent checkbox is always presented unchecked — we never pre-tick it:
- (a) Public SMS sign-up page. On our public SMS sign-up page, you enter your mobile number and check a non-pre-ticked consent box agreeing to receive SMS messages from Cognify about your support session and appointment.
- (b) Public booking form. On our booking/scheduling form, the same non-pre-ticked consent box appears alongside your booking details.
- (c) Customer record created at your request. When you ask Cognify staff to set up or update your customer record (for example, during a support call), we record your mobile number and SMS consent only at your explicit request, capturing the same non-pre-ticked, affirmative consent.
SMS is optional. Email is always available as an alternative for every notification; you are never required to opt in to text messages to use Cognify.

05No sale or sharing of mobile data
"No mobile information, SMS opt-in, or consent data will be shared with, sold to, rented to, or traded to any third parties."
For the avoidance of doubt, your mobile information, SMS opt-in, and consent data will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell, rent, or trade this information under any circumstances.
07Opt-out (STOP) & HELP
Opt-out
You can cancel SMS messages at any time. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or cancel. After you send STOP, we send one confirmation message and then stop sending you SMS. Opt-out requests are honored promptly. You may also email usacognify@gmail.com to be removed.

09Data security & retention
We protect your information with administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. Remote sessions run over end-to-end encrypted channels, and data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is restricted on a need-to-know basis and recorded in our audit logs.
We retain your contact and consent information only while you remain subscribed or your account/booking is active, and for as long as needed to meet legal, security, and audit obligations. You may request deletion of your information at any time by emailing usacognify@gmail.com; we will delete it promptly except where retention is required by law.
10Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, port, or delete your personal information, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email usacognify@gmail.com. Withdrawing SMS consent (by replying STOP) does not affect your ability to use Cognify — email notifications remain available.
11Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
