SMS Terms & Opt-In Disclosure
Last updated: June 20, 2026
These SMS Terms govern Cognify's consent-based text-message program. Our SMS messages are transactional and customer-care in nature — appointment/booking notifications and operator support-session messages. This is not a marketing program. Questions? Email usacognify@gmail.com.
What the Cognify SMS program is
If you opt in, Cognify sends you text messages about your support session and appointment — such as booking confirmations, reminders, and operator updates while a session is active. We do not send promotional or marketing texts.
The exact consent you agree to
When you opt in, you agree to the following — the same language shown beside the non-pre-ticked checkbox on our booking form:
"I agree to receive SMS text messages from Cognify about my support session and appointment at the phone number provided. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help."
Frequency, rates, opt-out & help
Message frequency
Message frequency varies. You will receive messages only as needed in connection with your bookings and active support sessions.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Cognify does not charge you for the messages themselves.
Opt-out
Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe. After you send STOP we will send one confirmation message and then stop messaging you. Opt-out requests are honored promptly. You can re-subscribe at any time by opting in again.
Help
Reply HELP for help, or email usacognify@gmail.com. Our customer-care team can assist with anything related to your messages or bookings.
Your privacy
"No mobile information, SMS opt-in, or consent data will be shared with, sold to, rented to, or traded to any third parties."
Your mobile information, opt-in, and consent are never sold, rented, traded, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing. Data may be processed by our messaging service provider, aggregator, and your carrier strictly to deliver the messages you requested — see the full Privacy Policy for details.
Opt-in workflow
Consent is always express, affirmative, and captured via an explicit, non-pre-ticked checkbox — never assumed. We collect it at three touchpoints. (1) On our public SMS sign-up page, you enter your mobile phone number and check the consent box to agree to receive SMS messages from Cognify about your support session and appointment. (2) On our booking/scheduling form, the same non-pre-ticked consent box appears alongside your booking details. (3) When Cognify staff create or update a customer record at your request — for example during a support call — we record your mobile number and the same affirmative consent only because you asked us to. In all cases SMS is optional and email is always available as an alternative, so you never have to receive texts to use Cognify. Read the full terms in our SMS Terms and Privacy Policy.
What our messages look like
Every message identifies the Cognify brand and includes opt-out / help instructions. Consent is collected via the web checkbox — there is no keyword sign-up handshake.
Sign up to receive Cognify text messages
Opt-in is public and takes a moment. On our SMS sign-up page you enter your mobile number and check the consent box — the same explicit, non-pre-ticked consent shown below — to agree to receive SMS messages from Cognify about your support session and appointment. The identical consent box also appears on our booking form. SMS is optional and email is always available, so you never have to receive texts to use Cognify.
"I agree to receive SMS text messages from Cognify about my support session and appointment at the phone number provided. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help."
We do not send any message before you check the consent box and submit the form — consent always precedes messaging. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help.
